Tour Bradner

Bradner P-Patch is part of a network of community gardens scattered across the city of Seattle. Originally started in 1987 as the Mt. Baker P-Patch, today Bradner has 61 garden plots of 200 square feet each. The gardeners are representative of the diverse Mt. Baker community.

The P-Patch Program was established in 1973 and is administrated through the Department of Neighborhoods. Over 4,500 urban gardeners utilize more than 1,700 plots on 16 acres of land. Special programs serve low-income, disabled, and youth gardeners as well as non-English speaking populations. Any Seattle resident can apply for a garden plot.
